Working to reduce the fear and fog around mental health.

About

Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I have a huge passion for all things mental health. I have created this page to spread the word about what science has to say about how our brains work, in the hopes of reducing the stigma around it. By doing so, I hope to inspire people to reach out for help if they need it or to simply recognize how normal they actually are, which is therapeutic in itself.

My mental health has not always been good, and during that time I struggled to see myself as normal or worth fighting for. Now I look back on that time and realize that if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have felt so much shame. I hope those who are struggling can learn to see it as a sickness that simply needs nurturing and a fresh direction.

My other interests include running, writing, reading, soccer, travel, and personality research. So much to do, so little time!

I am also a therapist at Trifecta Health in Buford, GA. I love what I do!
